Marine Synopsis -

High pressure nudging in from the west brings a short lived period of fair weather today. Winds strengthen as of this afternoon and inclement weather moves in tonight, in advance of the next front expected to pass through our area during Thursday morning. Moderate seas rebuild rough to very rough on Thursday before gradually easing thereafter.

Today -

  Winds west-southwesterly 12 to 18 knots, increasing southwesterly 18 to 24 knots by midday then 20 to 30 knots towards evening...  Early isolated showers with fair visibility... Seas inside the reef 1 to 3 ft... Outside the reef 5 to 8 ft...  Sunrise: 7:05 am.

Tonight -

  Winds southwesterly 20 to 30 knots, with gusts to 45 knots in and around developing showers...  Isolated showers becoming patchy rain and scattered showers late night with fair to poor visibility and the chance of thunder late night... Seas increasing, inside the reef 2 to 3 ft... Outside the reef 9 to 14 ft...  Sunset: 6:01 pm.

Thursday -

  Winds west-southwesterly 20 to 30 knots gusts to 45 knots, soon veering northwesterly and easing to 12 to 18 knots towards afternoon, then increasing west-northwesterly 18 to 24 knots towards evening...  Early rain and showers with fair to poor visibility and the chance of thunder, becoming isolated showers towards afternoon with improving visibility... Seas inside the reef 2 to 3 ft... Outside the reef 10 to 15 ft, decreasing inside the reef 2 to 3 ft... Outside the reef 8 to 12 ft...  Sunrise: 7:05 am; Sunset: 6:02 pm.

Friday -

  Winds west-northwesterly 16 to 22 knots, backing westerly at times during the day, then easing slightly towards dawn...  Isolated to occasionally scattered showers with fair visibility... Seas inside the reef 2 to 3 ft... Outside the reef 7 to 11 ft, decreasing...  Sunrise: 7:04 am; Sunset: 6:03 pm.

Saturday -

  Winds west-northwesterly 12 to 18 knots, easing 10 to 15 knots late night...  Isolated morning showers with fair visibility... Seas inside the reef 1 to 3 ft... Outside the reef 6 to 9 ft, decreasing...  Sunrise: 7:03 am; Sunset: 6:04 pm.

Sunday -

  Winds west-northwesterly 8 to 12 knots, backing southwesterly late afternoon, increasing south-southwesterly 15 to 20 knots overnight...  Seas inside the reef 1 to 2 ft... Outside the reef 4 to 6 ft, decreasing...  Sunrise: 7:02 am; Sunset: 6:05 pm.
