Marine Synopsis -

It is now turning unsettled as a cold front and trough merge in our area. Expect patchy rain and showers as well as strengthening northeasterly winds. Conditions then gradually improve later this weekend as the area comes more under the influence of high pressure anchored to the north. Moderate seas build rough this evening, peaking near very rough tomorrow, before diminishing thereafter.

Today -

  Winds north-northeasterly 10 to 15 knots, increasing 15 to 20 knots by late afternoon...  Isolated to scattered showers with fair to poor visibility... Seas increasing, inside the reef 1 to 3 ft... Outside the reef 5 to 8 ft...  Sunrise: 7:12 am.

Tonight -

  Winds northeasterly 16 to 22 knots, further increasing 20 to 30 knots overnight...  Patchy rain and showers developing with fair to poor visibility... Seas increasing, inside the reef 2 to 4 ft... Outside the reef 8 to 12 ft...  Sunset: 5:15 pm.

Saturday -

  Winds northeasterly 20 to 30 knots, with occasional gusts to gale force, especially in showers...  Patchy rain showers with fair to poor visibility, becoming isolated showers with improving visibility overnight... Seas inside the reef 2 to 4 ft... Outside the reef 9 to 13 ft, decreasing during the night inside the reef 2 to 4 ft... Outside the reef 8 to 12 ft...  Sunrise: 7:12 am; Sunset: 5:15 pm.

Sunday -

  Winds northeasterly 20 to 30 knots, easing east-northeasterly 16 to 22 knots overnight...  Isolated to occasionally scattered showers with mainly fair visibility... Seas inside the reef 2 to 4 ft... Outside the reef 7 to 11 ft, decreasing...  Sunrise: 7:13 am; Sunset: 5:15 pm.

Monday -

  Winds east-northeasterly 16 to 22 knots, veering easterly 12 to 18 knots towards evening...  Isolated showers with mainly fair visibility... Seas inside the reef 1 to 3 ft... Outside the reef 6 to 9 ft, decreasing...  Sunrise: 7:14 am; Sunset: 5:16 pm.

Tuesday -

  Winds easterly 10 to 15 knots, veering east-southeasterly 8 to 12 knots later...  Chance of an isolated shower with fair visibility... Seas inside the reef 1 to 3 ft... Outside the reef 5 to 8 ft, decreasing...  Sunrise: 7:14 am; Sunset: 5:16 pm.
