Written Summary   Table One   Table Two   Graphs
Notes:
1. Mean daily temperature and pressure are averaged from the standard 24 hourly observations and not as the average of the maximum and minimum values.
2. Precipitation day has = or >0.01". Trace amounts (< 0.01") are not included in data.
3. Departures from the normal are based on the 1971 to 2000 normals where available (with the exception of the Sea Surface Temperature, which is based on the 1985 to 2000 normal).
Notes:
1. Mean humidity is averaged from the standard 24 hourly observations.
2. Weather Notes indicate a specific condition was observed at least once that day.
3. Departures from the normal are based on the 1971 to 2000 normals where available (with the exception of the Sea Surface Temperature, which is based on the 1985 to 2000 normal).
Key:
PN = Precipitation, PC = Partly Cloudy, MC = Mostly Cloudy, OV = Overcast, DZ = Drizzle, SH = Showers, BS = Blowing Spray GR = Hail, FC = Funnel Cloud, HZ = Haze, RA = Rain, BR = Mist, TS = Thunder Storm/Shower

A building SFC ridge near to the north of Bermuda on Monday the 1st provided mostly moderate southeasterly winds and a few shallow warm air advection-induced showers (0.24") with a high of 70F/21C, a low of 63F/17C and 1.0 hour of sunshine. To begin the 2nd, an upper trough induced small-scale cyclogenesis very near the Island, with low ceilings and continuous light rain for a few early hours (0.26"). Light east winds then backed northerly by daybreak, as the building SFC ridge filled the low. The high reached 71F/22C with a low of 64F/18C and 9.5 hours of sunshine. Wednesday the 3rd and Thursday the 4th was influenced by a ridge of high pressure that brought mainly fair conditions with 8.5 hours of sunshine and no rainfall Wednesday and 9.1 hours of sunshine Thursday with a trace of rainfall. The high Wednesday was 71F/22C with a low of 65F/18C. Thursday high was 73F/23C with a low of 64F/18C. Friday the 5th remained mainly settled as a ridge moved away to the east. There were a couple of afternoon showers and then haze and mist arrived in the evening ahead of a weak cold front. The high was 73F/23C with a low of 69F/21C and 2.4 hours of sunshine.
