Written Summary   Table One   Table Two   Graphs
Notes:
1. Mean daily temperature and pressure are averaged from the standard 24 hourly observations and not as the average of the maximum and minimum values.
2. Precipitation day has = or >0.01". Trace amounts (< 0.01") are not included in data.
3. Departures from the normal are based on the 1971 to 2000 normals where available (with the exception of the Sea Surface Temperature, which is based on the 1985 to 2000 normal).
Notes:
1. Mean humidity is averaged from the standard 24 hourly observations.
2. Weather Notes indicate a specific condition was observed at least once that day.
3. Departures from the normal are based on the 1971 to 2000 normals where available (with the exception of the Sea Surface Temperature, which is based on the 1985 to 2000 normal).
Key:
PN = Precipitation, PC = Partly Cloudy, MC = Mostly Cloudy, OV = Overcast, DZ = Drizzle, SH = Showers, BS = Blowing Spray GR = Hail, FC = Funnel Cloud, HZ = Haze, RA = Rain, BR = Mist, TS = Thunder Storm/Shower

There were 12.6 hours of sunshine and no recorded rain. The high was 70ºF/21ºC and the low 61ºF/16ºC. Monday the 6th saw another day of fine weather due to the high pressure ridging across the area. There were 12.3 hours of sun with no rainfall. The high was 74ºF/23ºC with a low of 63ºF/17ºC. Tuesday the 7th saw mostly fine weather due to high pressure ridging holding firm. There were 10.7 hours of sunshine with a trace of rainfall. The high was 73ºF/23ºC and the low 66ºF/19ºC. Wednesday the 8th experienced cloudy conditions with showers and isolated early morning thunderstorms, as a warm frontal boundary moved in from the southwest. The high reached 73ºF/23ºC with a low of 69ºF/21ºC, whilst sunshine was limited to just 1.2 hours. Thursday the 9th remained mostly cloudy with occasional breaks, a few showers and isolated early morning thunder in the marine area. The high reached 75F/24C, a low of 70F/21C, with 6.8 hours of sunshine. On the 10th, a sharp upper trough enhanced the convergent surface pattern, bringing considerable clouds with morning showers and thunderstorm activity across the area on briefly strong southerly flow. The high reached 71F/22C with a low of 68F/19C, 0.3 hours of sunshine and 0.03" of rain. A new upper ridge axis moved over the area on the 11th, which acted to strengthen the surface ridge, with 10.6 hours of sun, a high of 75F/24C and a low of 67F/20C. Sunday the 12th was settled as high pressure remained strong over the area. There were moderate to strong winds and a thick layer of high clouds due to a cold front slowly approaching from the west. The high was 74F/23C with 9.1 hours of sunshine. The 13th had moderate to strong winds and mostly cloudy skies as a cold front and trough slowly converged towards the Island. The high was 75F/24C with 3.9 hours of sunshine and there was 0.15" of precipitation from evening showers. A cold front came through on Tuesday the 14th with showers and thunderstorms, producing 1.27" of rain. Afternoon clearing brought 5 hours of sunshine. The high was 73F/23C and the low 64F/18C. High pressure brought fine weather for Wednesday the 15th. There were 11.6 hours of sunshine and no rainfall. The high was 69F/21C and the low 63F/17C. Thursday the 16th saw another day of fine weather as high pressure continued to dominate across Bermuda. There were 11.5 hours of sunshine and no rainfall. The high was 71F/22C and the low 60F/16C. Friday the 17th saw high pressure continuing to dominate across Bermuda. There were 10.8 hours of sunshine and no rainfall. The high was 73F/23C and the low 65F/18C. The 18th brought a weak frontal passage with a trace of rain and moderate veering winds. The high reached 75F/24C with a low of 67F/19C and 1.5 hours of sunshine. High pressure began to build south over the area on the 19th, with 10.3 hours of sunshine and a high of 72F/22C after a low of 65F/18C. 15-20 knot northeasterly winds eased gradually at night.
