High pressure to the east weakens and recedes thus allowing wet periods to develop today with gusty wind at times. Except for a brief shower on Wednesday, drier and less humid weather will follow under strengthening high pressure.

  Mostly cloudy, showers ease in the evening...  Winds southwesterly moderate, easing west-southwesterly light to moderate overnight...  Low near 20°C/68°F.
